Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, Oklahoma City, OK

The Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, completed in 1998, is the home of the former Oklahoma 89'ners Triple-A league baseball team. This 39.9 million dollar, 13,066+ seat stadium is now home to the Oklahoma City Redhawks Triple-A baseball team. The stadium was part of the $380,000,000 MAPS civic development program initiated by Oklahoma City. The Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark is located in the "Bricktown" area of Oklahoma City and sits on a 11 acre lot. The stadium was designed with all the modern amenities of of a major league baseball stadium, just scaled down to a smaller market.

The interior includes modern locker rooms, clubhouse, offices and training facilities for the players. The Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark illustrates tremendous detail throughout the entire ballpark, from the outfield to the gazebo to the "baseball streetlamps". On the exterior of the stadium, there are marble and bronze statues that line the entrances of the ballpark. They celebrate many of the Hall Of Fame players that have called Oklahoma City home during their careers. Johnny Bench can be found out front. Mickey Mantle and Warren Spahn cover the other two entrances.
